What makes a good password?
Creating a strong and secure password is paramount in safeguarding your digital identity and protecting sensitive information. A robust password acts as a crucial line of defense against unauthorized access. To create an effective password, consider a combination of factors:
- Start with a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
- Include numbers and special characters
- Avoid easily guessable information such as birthdays or common words
- Aim for a password that is at least 12 characters long to enhance complexity
Regularly updating your passwords and avoiding the use of identical ones across multiple accounts adds an extra layer of protection. Remember, the strength of your password plays a vital role in fortifying your online security.
