A Very Important Part of UOA is the Visitation Program

The
Denver Chapter will send a certified visitor to an ostomy patient in
the hospital or home pre-operatively and/or post-operatively, with approval
of the patient’s doctor. We attempt to match visitors to patients
by type of surgery, age, sex, marital status, and lifestyle.
