Transformational Learning Community

The Transformational Learning Community was created to provide information for those who want to achieve fundamental change in their lives, neighborhoods, communities, bioregions and globally. The TLC is now almost four years old. Started in the winter of 1994-5 by British Socioeconomist and Futurist, Robert Theobald and Robert Stilger, Executive Director of Northwest Regional Facilitators, TLC has served as a means to connect people concerned with transformation with each other and with a wide range of resources.

TLC has launched of a major new initiative -- Resilient Communities -- an action/learning inquiry supporting people working to promote "resiliency" at personal, family, community and ecological levels. In the coming year much of TLC's work will be done through this initiative.

On January 22nd and April 8th, 1999 Resilient Communities hosted its first live-satellite program. Please check the Resilient Communities site for details. The next broadcast will be on May 27th and will feature Robert Theobald, Rachel Bagby and Vicki Robin looking at Making Meaning: A Challenge for the New Century. Plans are being developed now for additional programming via satellite later this year.
