Displaying and Forwarding Full Headers
Outlook Express
- Open the message you want to forward.
- Go to the File menu, and select Properties.
- Click on the Details tab.
- User your mouse to highlight all of the headers.
- Use Ctrl-C to copy the headers (or right-click and select Copy).
- Click OK on the Properties window.
- Use Ctrl-V (or right-click and select Paste) to paste the headers into a message you are forwarding.
Outlook 2000
- Open the message you want to forward.
- Go to the View menu, and select Options.
- In the box labeled Internet headers, use your mouse to highlight all of the headers.
- Use Ctrl-C to copy the headers (or right-click and select Copy).
- Click Close on the Message Options window.
- Use Ctrl-V (or right-click and select Paste) to paste the headers into a message you are forwarding.
Outlook Express for a Mac
- Open the message you want to forward.
- Go to your View menu, and select Internet Headers.
- Use your mouse to highlight the full Internet headers.
- Go to your Edit menu, and select Copy.
- Click the Forward button to forward the message.
- Go to your Edit menu, and select Paste to paste the
full Internet headers into the new message.
Eudora
- Open the message you want to forward.
- Click the Blah Blah Blah button. (It really is called 'Blah Blah Blah'!)
- Click the Forward button to forward the message.
Netscape 4.78
- Open the message you want to forward.
- Go to your View menu, select Headers and All.
- Go to your Edit Menu, and select Select All.
- Go to your Edit Menu, and select Copy.
- Click the New Msg button to start a new message.
- Go to your Edit Menu and select Paste to paste in the message with the full headers.
