A renaissance art
Web development is a highly multidisciplinary art, including graphic, multimedia, and user interface design, marketing, information science and taxonomy, business systems, security, and programming. It requires a deep understanding of what can be done with an increasing array of technologies and how to tastefully use these technologies as an artist's palatte. Unlike print media, how your web site appears is dependent on what you use to view it. Good web developers have to keep up with how those technologies will interact with different computers, browsers, and changing standards to help you get the most out of your investment
Developers & enology
Like fine wine, web designers and programmers take several years of applied effort to mature. Before that point, you will be paying for their learning curve as they familiarize themselves with the complexities of the technologies and develop their programming skills.
Each member of our development team has over 10 years experience in the field &mdash experience that insures your development project will stay on budget while meeting critical requirements:
- Excellent design that works with and enhances your company identity
- Seamless display on all major browsers and platforms
- Content optimized for effective search engine positioning
- Compatibility with older browser technologies and specifications
- Code optimized for fast performance
- No reckless security risks

15thstreetstudio.com
Complete design, programming and hosting for this Boulder-based custom framing studio.
Steve and Rob of 15th Street didn't want the usual site, but one that let visitors know the quality of work their studio provides based purely on the visuals and testimonials on the site. We accomplished this with large professionally shot images of their studio in Boulder, and used them as the backgrounds for the pages, with client and associate testimonials layered above. (This earned them a new client within two weeks of launch, based purely on the look of the site and the feeling of quality it conveyed.)

SPD Foundation
spdfoundation.net
Complete design, programming and hosting for this non-profit research foundation focusing on research, education, and advocacy related to Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), a complex disorder of the brain.
The goal of this project was to merge two existing sites with competing and redundant content and functions into one newly branded site. Both previous sites had grown well beyond their initial usage to become somewhat unwieldy, making the merger necessary. Working with an outside copywriter, we were able to create one comprehensive site incorporating new and existing content, as well as new and existing back-end functions for resource management, online registrations, and client memberships.
Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
Complete design, programming and hosting for this Boulder-based landmark restaurant and tea merchant.
The goal of this project was to change the site from one that emphasized the landmark's structure and history to one more conducive to online shopping, without losing the identity of the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. This included site restructuring, complete redesign to incorporate subtle aspects of their historic property, as well as the development of multiple back-end functions for inventory management, online shopping, and customer tracking. This project is still evolving as the client is discovering additional uses for the site as more of their customers use it to order products.
Safety One International
safetyoneinc.com
Complete design, programming and hosting for this Denver-based international safety training company.
This project included site restructuring and complete design, as well as development of multiple back-end functions for text updates, inventory management, and online shopping. The client's goal was to emphasize the company's diversity, since the addition of new services didn't work for their previous, one-dimensional image.
