United Ostomy Association Metro Denver Chapter 38

Mission Statement:
* UOAA is an association of affiliated, nonprofit, support groups who are
committed to the improvement of the quality of life of people who have, or will have, an intestinal or urinary diversion.

* It is dedicated to the provision of information, advocacy and service to, and for, its affiliated support groups,
their members and the intestinal/urinary diversion community at large.

* It is organized to grow and develop while remaining independent and financially viable.

of the Youth Ostomy Camp, August 2009.

The November Meeting will be

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

7:00 - 9:00pm

This is our special holiday meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

The theme is Sweet Memories.

Bring either candy or cookies you enjoyed as a youngster or in younger days.
Bring enough to share with a dozen people (two dozen cookies or enough pieces of candy for 24). Half will be shared at the meeting and the remainder donated to the Battered Women’s shelter.

We will also participate in a small gift exchange.
Bring a wrapped gift suitable for giving.
We will have our usual round robin gift exchange. Bottom line, it is fun watching the thrill of getting a good gift and the agony of loosing it to another.
