Your Internet connection to Indra's Net allows you to use almost any email
program available. Listed below are general set up instructions for configuring your email program. If you need assistance setting up your particular email program, please feel free to
contact one of our friendly support staff.
As you may already know, each account receives 50 MB of free email storage space, with average usage beyond this billed at $.25/MB. (The monthy
average is computed by taking an hourly snapshot of the amount of stored data).

In order to set nearly every email program, you will need the following four pieces of information:
- Your Indra's Net username (without @indra.com)
- Your Indra's Net password
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.indra.com
- Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.indra.com
Note: If you are using an Internet connection that is not with Indra's Net, you will have to enable SSL encryption and SMTP authentication in order to send mail through our outgoing mail server. If you need help adjusting these settings
