Paul Jannatpour
Director of Support Services
The landmark year of 1969 brought many memorable events - Woodstock, the
Apollo 11 moon landing, the Miracle Mets, and a summer that apparently
inspired Bryan Adams to write an annoying song. In February of that very
same year a scrappy young pup named Paul Jannatpour was welcomed into the
world in Fairfax, Virginia. Fulfilling his own Manifest Destiny at the age
of 9, Paul convinced his family to leave the East Coast behind to open up
a restaurant in Boulder, Colorado. A Boulder resident ever since, Paul
graduated from Fairview High School in 1986 and received a degree in
English from the University of Colorado in 1990. Now in his 30's and with
significantly less hair than in the photo at left, Paul has been a member
of the Indra's Net team since October of 1996 and still enjoys showing up
for work every day to hang out with the crew and help folks to use the
Internet. A devoted follower of our local pro sports teams, Paul currently
operates fan-based forums for discussion of the Denver Nuggets and
Colorado Avalanche
at www.nuggetstalk.com
and www.avalanchetalk.com.
As a
member of the CU Trivia Bowl Hall Of Fame, Paul will never hesitate to drop
whatever he is doing to discuss his favorite episode of "The Brady Bunch"
or the movie career of Crispin Glover. Bitten by the fitness bug in the
Spring of 2000, Paul is now pleased and surprised to list running and
hiking among his passions.
